A robot or android painting named Baltar. Acrylic on cradled wood. Size is 30 inches by 30 inches by 2.5 inches deep. Gloss Varnish. Original painting, not a print. Price includes shipping in the United States. Ready to hang, no frame needed. Baltar was inspired by the science Fiction book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" written by Philip K. Dick. He is an example of what will replace blue collar workers - construction, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, welders, truck drivers, factory workers, etc... Baltar is part of a series that I call - "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep or Plot Your Death While You Sleep." As we rush head long into the development of AI and robots, I see robots like Baltar as an inevitability. When they become sentient or self-aware how will humanity react, how will the robots react? How will Baltar react when a meat-sack treats him badly?
